Summary:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing advanced operational support to the Construction Manager's by coordinating aspects of daily operations as well as collaborating in the development and implementation of departmental policies and practices.
Operations Coordinator Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supervises and directs the daily activities of the Construction Clerk and Construction/Safety Data Clerk positions.
Improves operational functions by facilitating better management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning.
Assists in troubleshooting and resolving field operational issues.
Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis.
Completes and maintains a variety of reports and records such as contractor prequalification, job expenditures, time and attendance, contractor licenses, and other various governmental reporting requirements.
Communicates with installation department employees about scheduling and work assignments as directed by management.
Facilitates accounts payable processes as they pertain to construction activities.
Provides assistance to field personnel and acts as liaison with IT, HR, and Safety departments when needed.
Manages company vehicle fleet, including registration, DOT and ELD compliance, and maintenance.
Provides support for union activities.
Complies with guidelines and requirements according to established ISO 9001 policies.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Operations Coordinator Skills and Specifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to effectively communicate complex commercial or technical information.
Demonstrated proficiency with Google and corresponding apps, including, but not limited to Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
Able to manage multi-task work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work proactively and independently on a broad variety of projects.
Solid problem-solving skills.
High degree of confidentiality is required.
Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
Able to travel in the course of work approximately 5% of the time.
Operations Coordinator Education and
Qualifications:
Associates degree with 2-3 years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have a valid driver's license issued within the United States.
Operations Coordinator Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of Operations Coordinator, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Operations Coordinator Work Environment:
While performing the duties of Operations Coordinator, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
